FOLLOW ALONG WITH OUR CONSTRUCTION TIMELINE

Despite snowy conditions and icy roads we continued to make progress in White House. All air handlers have been set. Electricians are installing plates around the building behind the painters wrapping up their final coat of paint in the 400 area. Casework installers are working in the 400 and 500 areas while carpenters continue to work on handrails and window trim. Any remaining grid in the 200 wing was completed and the sprinkler contractor has dropped half of all sprinkler heads in this area.

PROGRESS NOTES BY TRADE:  

  1. Drywall: Touching up areas in the 400/500.
  2. Paint: 2nd coat complete through the 400 area, painted the ‘front porch’ in the MC wing.
  3. Finish Carpentry: Installing handrails.
  4. Casework: Installing cabinets in the 400.
  5. Electrical: Landing feeders in switchgear and installing outlet/switch plates.
  6. Mechanical: Installing AHUs.
  7. Sprinkler: Dropping sprinkler heads in the memory care wing.

Continued progress on the building exterior – The access drive, monument sign footer, entrance walks and dumpster enclosure have all been poured. All drywall in the kitchen is complete and the kitchen hood has been hung. In the building interior- plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and painters continue to make their way around the assisted living portion of the building.

PROGRESS NOTES BY TRADE:  

  1. Sitework Contractor: Spreading topsoil, dredging entrance for concrete prep, and testing the sewer system.
  2. Concrete: Formed and poured the dumpster pad, entrance walks and adjoining concrete at the front of the building.
  3. Drywall: Hanging the kitchen and sanding the 500-area.
  4. Paint: Prime/1st coat of paint in the 400/500-areas.
  5. Finish Carpentry: Installing front porch in the MC wing.
  6. Roofer: Cutting in roof hatch.
  7. Plumbing: Installing toilets and faucets in the 300/400 areas of the building.
  8. Electrical: Landing wires in mech. room panels and pulling secondary wires to the switchgear.
  9. ELandscaper: Completed previous pavers.

We have made good progress in White House despite coming off a weekend of rain. Framers were back on site closing up the ‘pass through’ in the 500-area for our landscapers. Finish carpenters continue to install handrails, doors trim and picture framing throughout the building. Cabinet installers were back onsite completing installation of resident rooms in the 300 and 400-areas. Roofers have finished the standing seam metal roofing and area nearing completion on the soffits at the entrance, MC courtyard and the AL courtyard. Curbs and sidewalks are scheduled for next week. Temporary heat will be installed Tuesday of next week as well to allow our flooring contractors to continue to install LVT in resident rooms.

PROGRESS NOTES BY TRADE:  

  1. Paint: Painting trim and doors in the 200-area.
  2. Finish Carpentry: Installation of resident room entry doors and resident bathroom doors in the 400-wings of the AL portion of the building. Installing handrail and picture framing under handrail in the 300 and 400-wings.
  3. Casework: Installing resident room cabinets in the 300 and 400.
  4. Roofer: Finishing the standing seam metal roof and working on soffits in the Porte Cochere, AL courtyard and MC courtyard.
  5. Plumbing: Working on punch.
  6. Electrical: Electrical finishes in the 300 and 400-area.
  7. Mechanical: Installing/connecting ERV’s in the attic. Insulating ductwork in the 500-area.
  8. Sprinkler: Continuing to work on the dry system in the 500/100 areas.

We’ve made big strides this week due to good weather. Site workers are here grading, seeding, and installing protection over top. Landscapers completed the irrigation and landscaping inside the AL Courtyard. Finish carpenters continue to install handrails, doors trim and picture framing. Drywall finishers completed the 400-area and painting followed. Flooring has started in the 300-wing resident rooms. Curbs and sidewalks are to start next week.

PROGRESS NOTES BY TRADE:  

  1. Sitework Contractor: Final grading, seed and straw.
  2. Drywall: Completed finishing and sanded the 400-wing.
  3. Paint: Painting in the 300-wing on doors and trim. Prime and painting walls and ceilings in the 400-wing.
  4. Finish Carpentry: Installation of resident room entry doors and resident bathroom doors in the 300 & 400-wings of the AL portion of the building. Installing handrail and picture framing under handrail in the 200 & 300-wings.
  5. Plumbing: Working on punch.
  6. Electrical: Electrical finishes in the 200 and 300-area.
  7. Mechanical: Installing/connecting ERV’s in the attic.
  8. Sprinkler: Building the riser in the Main Mechanical Room
  9. Landscaper: Installed irrigation, fountain, trees, plants, and tree bark in the AL Courtyard.
We have had great production this week both inside the building and out. Final grading is 90% complete and the generator was received and set in place. Drywall hangers/finishers continue to make their way through the AL portion of the building. Flooring installers continue to install LVT in the MC resident rooms while cabinet installers make their way through the 300/400 area resident rooms.

  1. Sitework Contractor: Final grading and seed and straw.
  2. Masonry Contractor: Installing block at all remaining columns.
  3. Siding: All exterior Hardie board has been installed.
  4. Drywall: Completed drywall finish in the 400 area, wrapped columns in MC and AL.
  5. Paint: Building exterior is complete both inside the courtyard and out.
  6. Doors: Installation of resident room entry doors and resident bathroom doors in the 300-wing of the AL portion of the building.
  7. Plumbing: Concrete backfill in areas that required adjustments for below ground sanitary.
  8. Electrical: Electrical finishes in the 200 area.
  9. Mechanical: Installing/connecting ERV’s in the attic.
  10. Sprinkler: Nearly completed the dry system at the MC/AL courtyards as well as the Porte Cochere.

We have had great production this week both inside the building and out. Final grading has commenced while our site contractors wrapped up all testing associated with the domestic water, fire, and irrigation lines. This week we received our final rough framing inspection for the Assisted Living portion of the building. Drywall hangers, and finishers, have quickly made their way around the building with one last area to go.

  1. Sitework Contractor: Final grading and all testing required for domestic water, irrigation, and fire lines.
  2. Siding: All exterior Hardie boards have been installed.
  3. Drywall: Completed drywall finish in the 400 area, wrapped columns in MC and AL.
  4. Paint: Nearly complete on the building exterior.
  5. Doors: Installation of resident room entry doors and resident bathroom doors in the 300 Wing of the AL portion of the building.
  6. Plumbing: Concrete backfill in areas that required adjustments for below ground sanitary.
  7. Electrical: Electrical rough-ins at the Library in the 100 area, generator was delivered for install.
  8. Mechanical: Ductwork insulation in the 500-area attic.
  9. Sprinkler: Nearly completed the dry system at the MC/AL courtyards as well as the Porte-Cochere.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: Great progress this week as our site contractor remobilized to begin final grading. MEP contractors have wrapped up their rough in’s while the drywall hangers and painters progressed through the 300 and 400-areas within the AL portion of the building. All resident room cabinets have been installed in the memory care wing with flooring soon to follow.

  5. Siding: All exterior Hardie boards have been installed.
  6. Drywall: Completed drywall hang in the 400-area.
  7. Paint: Nearly complete on the building exterior, 1st coat of paint in the 300-area.
  8. Doors: Installation of resident room entry doors and resident bathroom doors in the MC wing.
  9. Casework: All resident room casework in the MC wing has been installed.
  10. Plumbing: Insulated hot water piping in the corridors.
  11. Electrical: Completed all rough ins in the 500-area.
  12. Mechanical: Installing ductwork in the 500-area attic and beginning to insulate ductwork.
  13. Sprinkler: Completed the wet system throughout the building, working on the dry system in the attic.
